Social Psych research tells us that it matters what we wear. In one study private school students consistently scored higher on tests when they wore their uniform jackets. There really is a secondary benefit to your clothing choices. Self-esteem is one of them!
1. Goals – What do I want from today’s exposure? For example, do I need to gain a new client, a new daughter n law, or a new member for my organization? This will help determine whether you need to dress more casual or formal within your choices.
2. Audience – With whom will I be communicating and what do I know or need to know about them? For example: Speaking to a group of corporate leaders, leading a team meeting, or lunch out with friends.
3. Identity – What do I want them to know and believe most about me? For example: Level of authority needed to communicate to others, whether I’m friendly and care about others – trustworthy.

2. Shop from your own closet and set up modules to meet your
needs for the new year.
3. Accessorize using your best colors and don’t forget to “Frame
the Face” with just the right jewelry and scarves.
4. Invite a trusted confidant or stylist to help you decide what works best for your body type.
5. Use your mobile phone and take pics of you in the outfits.
6. Note any gaps of items needed to fulfill a perfect module.
7. Create your very own Look Book (PPT works) using your pics.
When it’s time to get dressed, they will help you decide your best looks.
